Marvellous Maps - Nature Network CPD Event for Educators
Event details
About the event
Come along to our free CPD session and enhance your skills! We will show you how to use your grounds as a starting point for mapping features and link these to the wider landscape. We will be using a range of techniques including the use of apps linked to geographical information systems.
We will demonstrate how your students can become involved with the ‘National Education Nature Park’, map and survey your grounds and share activity ideas aimed at building strong connections to nature and local natural spaces.
You are welcome to book up to 4 teachers from your school to attend. If you need more tickets than this, please get in touch and we will add your additional teachers to our waiting list.
Please be prepared for being outside and so wear/bring suitable clothing for the outdoors!
If you have any accessibility needs, we recommend getting in touch and we will be happy to help more specifically.
We look forward to seeing you!
