School Visits & Nature Exploration
Enjoy a day exploring nature in our private, ancient woodland! Nower Wood Nature Reserve and Community Learning Hub is open for school bookings. We offer a Nature Discovery Day at £7 per child or a Bespoke Outdoor Learning Day with one of our specialists at £13 per child.

Nature Discovery Days
An inspiring day making use of our amazing facilities and the ancient woodland to allow learning to come to life. A choice of three hands on nature-based sessions to provide children with a wonderful introduction to life in the woodland, guided by our trained volunteers. A great taster day, filled with exploration and adventure. Available to book on Tuesdays and Thursdays at £7 per child for a 10-2:30pm day.
Bespoke Outdoor Learning Days
For in-depth studies, we offer a tailored day of learning with a specialist tutor. Includes two longer sessions exploring each topic comprehensively, tailored to learning objectives. Led by a specialist tutor, these sessions are perfect for a deep dive and curriculum specific learning. Available to book on Mondays at £13 per child for a 10-2:30pm day.
Wilder Schools
We work with a limited number of schools on longer-term projects to embed nature into the curriculum and improve the school grounds for children and wildlife! Learn more about Wilder Schools here and you can apply for your school to be a Wilder School in the future!
