Free Will-writing services
Write your Will for free
We have entered into a number of partnerships that enable our supporters to write their Wills for free, with no obligations whatsoever. In each case, we cover a discretionary fee for simple Wills to be written. There are two options to choose from: Octopus Legacy and National Free Wills Network.
With Octopus Legacy, you can make a Will online in 15 to 20 minutes, over the phone or face to face with a solicitor. With National Free Wills Network, you can have your Will written by a local solicitor.
Please note that only simple Wills are covered. If you have a complex estate, you can use Octopus Legacy or National Free Wills Network and pay for any additional services. Alternatively, you could find a solicitor via The Law Society.
Option A: Octopus Legacy
We have teamed up with online Will-writing service, Octopus Legacy, to offer our supporters a free Will-writing service.
Make a Will online in 15 to 20 minutes, over the phone or face-to-face with a solicitor. Octopus Legacy will help you choose inheritors, protect your loved ones, prepare instructions for treasured keepsakes and offer advice on donating a percentage of your estate to charity if that is something you would like to do.

Option B: National Free Wills Network
Thanks to our membership of the National Free Wills Network, we are able to offer our supporters the opportunity to have your Will written by a local solicitor – with Surrey Wildlife Trust paying at a discounted rate for the writing of simple Wills.
