Nesting Balls
Event details
About the event
Nesting balls use the build-up of multiple willow layers to securely hold natural items that birds use when creating their nests. While you weave, you will insert locally sourced sheep’s wool, untreated cotton, hay and straw. Once complete, simply hang it in your garden and enjoy watching the birds choose their favourite building materials. This can also be refilled and used for years to come.
