About the event

Papercourt Meadows is a wetland Site of Special Scientific Interest next to the River Wey that supports a number of rare plants and birds. During this guided walk you will learn about the resident waterfowl as well as the other local wildlife such as winter thrush and roe deer. The walk is approximately 2 miles through fields, meadows and wetland. We will walk at a gentle pace with lots of opportunities to stop and ask questions.
