About the event

Nower Wood is a semi-ancient oak woodland which may date back as far as the Domesday Book. The reserve is also a Site of Nature Conservation Importance (SNCI).

Come and spend some time immersed in nature and celebrate the changing seasons with us. We will also learn about how to identify trees during the winter.

The walk is approximately 1.5 miles through woodland. The walk will be on footpaths with some steep hills. We will walk at a gentle pace with lots of opportunities to stop and ask questions.
