About the event
Bring your children to our Wild Families Action for Nature event to learn how to take action for nature in your own home and garden!
This event will consist of three fun-filled sessions to inspire you to help nature:
- Food for Wildlife
- Water for Wildlife
- Homes for Wildlife.
We will then finish the day by making a Pledge for Nature to ensure that Surrey’s nature thrives in 2025!
This event runs from 09:45 - 14:30 (please be aware the first activity starts at 10:00).
The activities are suitable for children aged 5+ and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
There will be various activities available for your family to enjoy including minibeast hunting, pond dipping, making a bird feeder and sowing a seed in your very own newspaper pot to take home with you.
Please book your car parking space ticket in advance. This event is limited by parking spaces, so please car share where possible. If you are a Blue Badge holder, please contact us in advance to book an accessible parking space.
There will be hot beverages and biscuits available during the day, but please bring a packed lunch with you for lunchtime. Nower Wood is a nut-free centre so please avoid any foods containing nuts.
If you have any accessibility needs, we recommend getting in touch and we will be happy to help more specifically.
We look forward to seeing you!
